Report of the WHO-convened Phase 1 origins investigation (on-site 14 Jan–10 Feb 2021). Its epidemiology working-group section and annexes compile and map the residential locations of Wuhan cases with December-2019 symptom onset, reporting that these are geographically concentrated in the central districts of Wuhan where the Huanan market sits, and lay out the official early-case line list (counts, onset dates, market-exposure status by case) that Huang, Chen, Li, and both Worobey papers all ultimately draw on, extend, or cross-check against. Predates and supplies the raw case-location data for the independent geospatial reanalyses (Worobey 2022, Stoyan & Chiu, Weissman) that came later.
relevance_note: the primary international-team compilation of the official case data and the first published case-location maps, prior to any independent statistical reanalysis; the data source underlying most of this slice’s other nodes.
