Why this is evidence
Phosphatidylcholine capsules deliver choline in egg-yolk’s chemical form but without the whole-egg food matrix, and still produce no TMAO rise. This isolates choline form (H-28) as the operative variable rather than the egg matrix, and is against H-42 (egg-choline measurably feeds the pathway) for the fasting/steady-state readout.
