The LDL-C response to the coffee diterpene cafestol was 0.11 mmol/L smaller in APOE3/4 or E4/4 carriers than in E3/3 carriers (95% CI -0.29 to 0.07 mmol/L) — an opposite-direction genotype effect to that seen for saturated fat, and again with a CI crossing zero.
