Why this is evidence
Per-member (H-2, H-3, H-4, H-9, H-10, H-12):
- H-2: disconfirmed on the mortality endpoint.
- H-3: this is close to its defining prediction (harm at high intake, all-cause mortality).
- H-4: scoped to IHD, so an all-cause-mortality gradient does not directly contradict it - weakly engaged.
- H-9: partially disconfirmed at the margin - its rider caps at ~1/day and >=7/wk is near that cap in a healthy Western cohort.
- H-10: disconfirmed - it explicitly claims no material mortality effect.
- H-12: well accommodated (harm at the high end, null/protective elsewhere).
