O-8 - Egg-mortality association about twice as strong in diabetic PHS subgroup, HR 2.01

Why this is evidence

Per-member (H-2, H-3, H-4, H-9, H-10, H-12):

  1. H-2: disconfirmed in the diabetic subgroup.
  2. H-3: strongly predicted - H-3 names diabetics explicitly.
  3. H-4: weakly engaged (endpoint is mortality, not IHD).
  4. H-9: consistent by scope-exclusion - diabetics are not ‘generally healthy’, so H-9 predicts nothing here and is untouched.
  5. H-10: disconfirmed - a population-wide null cannot host an HR of 2.01.
  6. H-12: strongly predicted - subgroup-varying direction is exactly its content. Note the exploratory status (P-interaction 0.09) caps how much it can move mass.
