In the China Kadoorie Biobank (461,213 adults, median 8.9 y, 83,977 CVD cases), daily egg consumers (~0.76 egg/day) had lower risk than non/rare consumers: HR 0.89 CVD, 0.88 IHD, 0.86 major coronary events, 0.74 hemorrhagic stroke, 0.90 ischemic stroke, with a significant dose-response trend.
