Why this is evidence
Bears directly on the H-10 vs H-46 fault line. H-46’s key artefact is differential dropout of already-reacting infants from the egg arm inflating the apparent protection. That the count of participants with acute allergic events was similar between arms (15% egg vs 18% placebo) bounds how much such dropout could have occurred and thus weakly favours H-10’s causal reading; the higher hospital-admission rate in the egg arm (10% vs 0%) is the mechanism H-46 would invoke, so the observation is genuinely double-edged and diagnostic rather than merely topical.
