O-37 - Plasma choline, TMAO and betaine predict 3-year incident MI, stroke or death in a prospective angiography sub-cohort
Human observational finding, resting on the Cleveland Clinic GeneBank angiography cohort (D-4). Prospective incident-event design partly mitigates reverse causation, but n is small and the population is referral-selected.

Why this is evidence
A prospective human association predicting incident MI/stroke/death is strongly expected under H-16 (human causal factor) and under H-45 (marker of renal status / unhealthy diet), but only weakly under H-15, whose human translation is explicitly open. Raises H-16 and H-45 relative to H-15; being an untargeted, thinly-adjusted angiography sub-cohort it does not by itself separate causal H-16 from marker H-45.
