O-66 - Platelet responsiveness correlated with TMAO levels across participants
Links the TMAO differences to a functional prothrombotic readout: participants with higher TMAO had higher platelet reactivity, regardless of arm.

Why this is evidence
A strong within-cohort correlation (r~0.5) between plasma/urine TMAO and platelet responsiveness supports TMAO being functionally coupled to a CVD-relevant effector, favoring H-16 (causal) over H-45 (passive marker). Discrimination is weaker than an intervention because a cross-sectional correlation is also compatible with a shared confounder.
